CMS issues 1proposed rule Sept. 15 significantly expanding the bundled payment for end stage renal disease dialysis to include services such as lab tests, drugs and other supplies. The rulemaking, required by the 2008 Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act, is intended to improve care efficiency.
