Executive Summary
Despite receipt of a Nov. 5 DoJ subpoena seeking documentation on parathyroid hormone testing, Gambro remains on-track to finalize by year-end a July preliminary settlement agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice related to renal care Medicare billing practices initially cited in a June 2001 subpoena, the firm says (1"The Gray Sheet" July 26, 2004, p. 13).
