Executive Summary
July launch is planned for iCAD's Second Look 500M computer aided detection (CAD) system, combining film-based mammography review with Confirma's CADstream magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) review technology to aid breast cancer detection, firms announce June 3. The device will cost $219,900, with a per-procedure charge of about $150 for each breast MR/CAD analysis, according to iCAD. CADstream also is available as an upgrade.
