Group tasked with counseling CMS on the development and implementation of the Competitive Acquisition Program required under the Medicare Modernization Act will include: beneficiary/consumer reps; physicians and other health care providers; manufacturers; suppliers; professional standards organizations; financial standards specialists; data management specialists; association reps; and "experts in shipping fragile medical materials" (1"The Gray Sheet" May 24, 2004, p. 21).
