Under an agreement to settle ArthroCare's February 1998 patent infringement suit against Ethicon and subsidiaries Mitek and Gynecare, Ethicon will pay ArthroCare a license fee and ongoing royalties on ArthroCare's U.S. patents in the arthroscopy and gynecology markets, ArthroCare announces June 24.
