Zipfizz expands distribution

Select Walgreens, Quality Food Centers and Bed Bath & Beyond stores in the Pacific Northwest are new distributors of the Zipfizz"healthy energy drink," the firm announces Aug. 10. Zipfizz contains "100 mg of caffeine extracted from green tea and guarana, which is about one-fourth the caffeine in a tall Starbucks coffee (375 mg and less than two Excedrin tablets (130 mg)," according to ZipFizz. The "all-natural, healthy alternative to popular energy drinks" contains "only 10 calories, no sugar and 2 net carbs," the firm notes. The product comes in liquid or effervescent powder form and offers 25 nutritional ingredients, including nine vitamins, eight minerals, electrolytes and antioxidants, the firm says. Zipfizz currently is available in citrus and berry flavors; the addition of a third flavor, pink lemonade, was also announced Aug. 10. Zipfizz is sold in single tubes for $1.99 online, at select convenience stores, Costco Wholesalers and other retailers. The citrus flavor is also available in a 20-pack for $34.99...
