The new company will be based in Wilmington, N.C. where Takeda Chemical Products USA operates vitamin C and vitamin B1 production facilities. Regional sales and marketing operations of Takeda USA will remain in Chicago, New York City and Los Angeles, but its Orangeburg, N.Y. administrative headquarters will be closed by about Sept. 30, the company says.
