FDA's AUTHORITY OVER SUPPLEMENTS SHOULD BE "REAFFIRMED AND STRENGTHENED," according to a June 13 draft report for public review and comment issued by the Commission on Risk Assessment and Risk Management. A 10-member advisory committee to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency with representation from government and academia, the commission is slated to hold a public hearing in Boston on July 23.
