Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America urges Senate Appropriations/agriculture subcommittee conferees in Aug. 4 letter to eliminate $163.4 mil. in general purpose user fees included in the final version of the Senate's FY 1995 agriculture appropriations bill (HR 4554) adopted on July 20. Last year, House-Senate conferees deleted $175 mil. in unspecified user fees from the FY 1994 spending bill approved by the Senate. A conference date for the FY 1995 legislation has not yet been set
