GMP INSPECTORS RECOMMEND OFFICIAL ACTION IN 24% OF OVERSEAS INSPECTIONS in fiscal 1996, FDA Office of Compliance Director Stephanie Gray told the University of Texas International Industrial Pharmacy Conference Feb. 26 in Austin, Tex. The Office of Compliance reviewed reports of 287 overseas inspections during FY 1996, Gray noted. No action was recommended by the field inspector in 17% of cases; the remainder were classified as "voluntary action indicated."
