At this year's American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons' conference (AAOS) in Las Vegas, DePuy Synthes celebrated 15 years of partnership with orthopedic surgeon Joel Matta from the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado, who is considered a pioneer in the anterior approach to total hip replacement. Matta, who is also the co-founder and chairman of the Anterior Hip Foundation , sat down with Medtech Insight to discuss his involvement with DePuy and the evolution of new instrumentation and implants.
