Clinica’s most read article by subscribers in November apparently sent the sector into a spin. Barely had our top story on how overworked notified bodies have to turn down new clients because of their heavy workload (see below) been published on our website and already some competent authorities had gone into overdrive and calls were being made all over Europe in response to the article. It is hardly surprising: the warning is on the wall that notified bodies are already struggling to cope and that, with even more requirements due, the situation could get worse.
