UK Extends Device, Drug Accelerated Access Review Until April 2016

Executive Summary
A UK government project that is exploring how to support the faster development of, and access to, new drugs and medical devices for patients under the National Health Service will now be finalized in April 2016, rather than at the end of this year as was originally intended. An interim report on the accelerated access review (AAR) project, which is looking at new product development pathways among other things, will be published in October as planned.
