Council on EU IVD reg: good news on 5-year grace and scrutiny, but industry wants “serious discussions”

The Council of the European Union is proposing that IVD manufacturers have five years to comply with the new EU IVD Regulation from the date it enters into force. This is in line with the European Commission’s recommendation in its original IVDR text.
