Annual sales of IVDs by the member companies of BIVDA, the British In Vitro Diagnostics Association, fell for the first time in 2013. It wasn’t a large fall and domestic sales still hover around the £700m ($1.2bn) mark (NHS and private), only on a slightly downward trend.
