Several EU standards relating to sterilization of medical devices are being phased out over the next five months and replaced with more up-to-date versions. Subsequently, manufacturers of active implantable medical devices, IVDS and medical devices in general, who cite compliance with these sterilization norms in their technical documentation must ensure they are in compliance with the latest versions
