GE gives new roles to Hakami and Leclercq

Executive Summary

GE Healthcare has made two appointments to its imaging and life care solutions divisions. The company has appointed Hooman Hakami vice-president of Detection & Guidance Solutions, a division developing X-ray based technology to help to diagnose and treat diseases including osteoporosis, breast cancer, cardiovascular disease and stroke. Mr Hakami has been with GE for over 20 years, and has served in its Energy, Aerospace, Capital and Healthcare businesses. He previously led the Interventional Systems business based in France, and the Global Clinical Systems Services for GE Healthcare. Meanwhile, GE has made Thierry Leclercq vice- president of Life Care Solutions, which encompasses critical care, perioperative, cardiac care, perinatal care, sub-acute and home care. He has worked for GE for 25 years, most recently as general manager, Life Support Systems.
