Executive Summary

Taking telehealth adoption to the next stage in Europe is the aim of an EU-funded program announced today. Led by Philips Healthcare and a group of consortium partners, the program, “Advancing Care Coordination and Telehealth Deployment (ACT)”, is a product of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP-AHA), which Clinica reported on at the recent Med-Tech Innovation Expo 2013 (www.clinica.co.uk, 24 April 2013) .
