The US Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released on 30 January its plans for competitive bidding for certain durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics and supplies (DMEPOS). The prices for these, and for mail order diabetes supplies, are due to come into force on 1 July 2013.
