Alstodt to help lead Leerink Swann's medtech practice

Leerink Swann has appointed Lance Alstodt managing director of its investment banking group. In his new role, based in New York, Mr Alstodt will work closely with Jed Cohen in partnering to lead the firm's medical technology practice. Mr Alstodt has some 20 years healthcare investment banking experience. Prior to this appointment, he held a similar role at Oppenheimer & Company. He has also worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan Chase in a variety of health care investment banking and M&A roles.
