Peter Huntley has been appointed the new director general of the Danish medical device industry association Medicoindustrien, effective 1 February 2012. Mr Huntley for the past 10 years has held the position of director of the Association of Danish Packaging Manufacturers; he succeeds Jens Kr. Gøtrik, who has held the post for the past five years. “Peter Huntley is the right person to continue Medicoindustrien’s ambitious strategy as [the] leading organisation for medical and health technology in Denmark… In the future, we must be even better demonstrating that companies in the industry help solve future health challenges with innovative and cost effective solutions to the benefit of patients and society,” said Medicoindustrien chair Jesper Boysen.
