ConvaTec increases UK stoma offering with Farnhurst acquisition

Wound care firm ConvaTec has expanded further into the UK stoma care market by purchasing Farnhurst Medical, which claims to be the leading distributor of stoma and incontinence appliances in the country. The deal was carried out through ConvaTec’s existing home delivery service, Amcare, which has been serving UK customers for almost 20 years. Financial details were not disclosed.
