Patrick Yount becomes Aperio CFO

Digital pathology specialist Aperio has made Patrick Yount its CFO. Mr Yount is the former executive vice-president and CFO of independent living company Univita Health. He has also held the position of CFO at Axia Health Management, Biosensors International and respiratory and anaesthesia specialist Hudson RCI. Vista, California-based Aperio manufactures digital pathology technology for hospitals, reference laboratories, and research institutions worldwide. Its product portfolio includes the ScanScope scanners, the Spectrum image management (PACS) software, the SecondSlide slide sharing service for pathology, and image analysis tools and services.
