Brazil’s DASA appoints head of investor relations

Brazil’s Diagn�sticos da América (DASA) has promoted Tharso Bossolani to the position of director of investor relations. Mr Bossolani, who now joins the board, has served the São Paulo-based group for four years. DASA, which claims to be Latin America’s largest – and world’s fourth-largest – diagnostic services provider, has just reported first-half revenues of US$233.4m, up 8.2% on the same period in 2009.
