Medical device reprocessing company SterilMed has been bought by private equity firms Great Hill Partners and Primus Capital Funds. SterilMed (Maple Grove, Minnesota) reprocesses single-use medical devices and is a provider of small equipment repair services for more than 1,700 healthcare facilities in North America. Great Hill Partners’ portfolio also includes Passport Health Communications, which provides administrative, clinical and financial services to the healthcare market, while Primus Capital Funds has orthopaedic firm Axiomed Spine, integrated hospital information systems firm Healthcare Management Systems, and diagnostic testing service expert Laboratory Partners on its roster, among others.
