US densitometry manufacturers Lunar and Hologic have settled a patent dispute which flared up in August (see Clinica No 668, p 1). The companies agreed certain payments related to future sales and signed a deal not to sue each other over patents in the area of X-ray densitometry and ultrasound for the next ten years.
