Over a quarter of French surgical procedures by doctors who set their own tariffs are wrongly invoiced, reveals a study by the national insurance agency CNAMTS. The survey of all procedures under the KC nomenclature - which covers 866 different procedures including major surgery - shows that many doctors are overcharging.
