UK condom and glove manufacturer London International Group, which underwent extensive restructuring last year, has reported after-tax profits of £4.9 million ($7.7 million) in the six months to September. This compares with £800,000 in the previous year. Sales of continuing operations increased 7% to £139.5 million. Condom turnover rose 9% to £49.3 million and surgical glove sales increased 27% to £26.6 million.
