London International Group (LIG), the UK condom and glove manufacturer, has acquired the Mister condom brand in Malaysia from local company Gohtohtonku at a cost of £2 million ($3 million). Mister leads the Malaysian condom market with a 40% share, followed by LIG's Durex. LIG therefore now controls around 70% of this "strategically important market", it says.
