Shield launches von Willebrand test:

Shield Diagnostics (UK) has launched an ELISA test for the detection of von Willebrand factor (vWF) activity. As well as diagnosing von Willebrand's disease, the test can be used to assess endothelial damage. Shield believes vWF may be of interest in the evaluation of cardiovascular disease risk.
