Executive Summary
Boston Scientific and Smith & Nephew Richards have entered into separate five-year agreements with Summit Medical Systems to set up US clinical outcomes databases. Boston Scientific's Mansfield EP division will offer electrophysiologists databases developed by Summit for tracking clinical outcomes on procedures performed in EP laboratories. Additionally Summit Medical will maintain a national database of clinical and cost data from participating laboratories for Mansfield EP.
