BOC's comparable healthcare sales down 1%

Executive Summary
UK company BOC saw healthcare sales decline 8% to £527.3 million ($828 million) in the nine months to the end of September. BOC explains the fall with the disposal of the medical engineering systems business last year. On a comparable basis healthcare sales only declined 1% in the period. As a result of an ongoing restructuring programme, the operating profit of the healthcare division increased 8%.
