This article was originally published in Clinica

Executive Summary

Medical Technology and Innovations' Photoscreener hand-held photographic device is being used in US clinical trials at the Children's Hospital in Boston to develop a battery of screening tests for vision disorders in early childhood. The results of a University of Iowa study of the FDA-cleared device show that Photoscreener is accurate in detecting early vision problems, is inexpensive and provides results which can be easily interpreted, says MTI.
