Gaeltec (UK) has released its new portable urine flow system, the HomeFlowmeter, for evaluating voiding disorders in male patients. The non-invasive technique is as reliable as urodynamic evaluation by pressure/flow analysis, and is the first microprocessor-controlled portable flowmeter with computer supported analysis, the company says. HomeFlowmeter enables the clinician to collect data about single flows and complete voiding behaviour of the patient day and night over seven days.
