Executive Summary

Imaging Diagnostic Systems (US) plans to start the first clinical trial next month of its CT Laser Mammography (CTLM) system, which uses medical optical imaging to detect breast-tissue abnormalities as small as 1 mm. The study will take place at the Strax Clinic in the company's home town of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The CTLM device will then be installed in seven strategically located hospital centres for continued evaluation.
