In Italy, Smith & Nephew has completed its strategy to take over marketing all its products. This follows the purchase of distribution rights for its DonJoy surgical bracing range for £800,000 ($2.3 million) from SLO, a division of Italian healthcare company Pabisch. Italian sales of this product range were £2.1 million in 1994.
