Worldwide Medical (US) is negotiating distribution agreements throughout Europe, Asia and South America for its new First Check range of eight rapid diagnostic kits for fertility, infectious diseases and drugs-of-abuse testing. Launching the one- and two-step tests at the AACC convention in July, the company highlighted First Check Panel 4, a one-step, five- minute, competitive, immunometric assay which simultaneously detects the presence of marijuana (THC), morphine/opiates, cocaine and amphetamines. Tridon has signed a letter of intent to acquire all outstanding shares in Worldwide Medical, which is based in Irvine, California.
