Hewlett-Packard has launched the Codemaster 100 portable defibrillator/monitor for transport and emergency applications. "The device represents our entrance in the pre-hospital market," says Wendy Blumberg-Dominguez, HP's resuscitation product manager. The water-resistant Codemaster 100 has a charge time of less than five seconds to 360J and is specially designed to withstand the rigours of transport and emergency use.
