UroMed (US) signs French distribution deal with Porges

Executive Summary

French company Porges will be the exclusive distributor of Uromed's (US) Reliance urinary control inserts in France. The device is scheduled for launch there in mid-1996. Subject to certain terms, Porges, a subsidiary of Synthelabo will invest a minimum of some $6.5 million over the seven-year agreement. This could double to $13 million if commercialisation proceeds as planned, says UroMed.
