Wallac (Finland) has launched the AutoDelfia Unconjugated Estradiol (uE3) kit, a fluorometric assay designed for monitoring of foetal well-being. One of few kits available for unconjugated oestradiol, it is based on the AutoDelfia immunoassay technique, which exploits the unique fluorescence properties of lanthanide chelate labels and their measurement using time-resolved fluorometry.
