Circulatory disorders are the most frequent cause of death in Germany, outstripping cancer by a wide margin. According to figures just released by the federal statistical office in Wiesbaden, nearly 430,000 people died as a result of a circulatory disorder last year - 48.6% of the total number of fatalities included in the statistics. Malignant tumours accounted for 22.3%.
