Executive Summary

Israeli diagnostics company Healthcare Technologies has appointed CR Bard as its exclusive distributor for the Uriscreen test kits in the US and Canada. Uriscreen was developed by Healthcare's subsidiary, Diatech Diagnostics, and is approved in the US and Japan as a first test for the detection of urinary diseases. Healthcare expects the deal to generate sales in excess of $2 million over the next three years.
