Hycor Biomedical (US) has launched an automated immunology/allergy system. The HyTec analyser is available with tests for total and allergen-specific IgE and IgG, ENA-screen and SS-A, SS-B, Sm, RNP, Scl-70 and jo-1 tests plus dsDNA, RF and anti-cardiolipin. HyTec can run up to 480 tests at a time and Hycor plans to add infectious disease tests.
