Healthcare Technologies (Israel) has received German marketing approval for its SeroELISA chlamydia kits. The assays, manufactured by subsidiary Savyon Diagnostics, are already approved in the US and Japan - where sales have reached ¥50 million pa ($1.8 million). The German industry association (VDGH) says the local chlamydia testing market is worth DM 14 million ($10 million) a year.
