This article was originally published in Clinica

Executive Summary

Colposcopic cervicography is one of the most effective means of studying cervical cancer, say Spanish gynaecologists. Dr Calvo de Mora, vice-president of the XII International Cytology congress in Madrid believes cervicography is especially suited to visualising changes in cervical morphology over several years and believes that cytology and colposcopy should be used in conjunction for the most effective diagnosis of cervical changes; he estimates 90% diagnostic efficacy if the two methods are used together, says a report in Diario Medico.
