Europe cancer study reveals substantial differences

Switzerland, Finland and the Netherlands have the highest rates of cancer survival in Europe, according to a recently-published study. EU-backed Eurocare compares the survival incidence of some 80,000 cancer patients diagnosed between 1978-85 in 11 European countries. Patients were followed up to the end of 1990.
