Executive Summary
TomTec Imaging Systems (US) has gained US FDA approval to market its three-dimensional ultrasound workstation. EchoView is a desktop system comprising the image reconstruction part of TomTec's 3-D and 4-D (dynamic 3-D) workstation technology. Approval was granted for use with the EchoScan image acquisition unit, clearance for which is expected soon. EchoView can, however, accept data from any ultrasound system.
