Executive Summary
Acuson's (US) approach to increasing throughput for Doppler examinations is to allow the sonographer to switch between organ-specific flow evaluation programs instantly. The Color Doppler Chooser interface allows the user to switch back and forth between Color Doppler Energy, Color Doppler Velocity or programmed grey-scale parameters without having to select from a menu using a trackball. The Chooser will be available on all Acuson systems from autumn and as a free upgrade for selected systems.
