WR Grace' new chief executive Albert Costello is pursuing the sale or spin-off of the dialysis unit National Medical Care, he told the annual general meeting on May 10th. It follows the earlier $3,500 million bid made for the unit by its founder and chairman Constantine Hampers (see Clinica No 653, p 15). Mr Costello believes the issue is likely to be resolved within 60 days.
