LifeQuest subsidiary ValQuest Medical (US) has been awarded a Co-operative Research and Development Agreement grant to evaluate high-power, fibre-optic probes for medical use. The $100,000 project, in which the company is collaborating with Los Alamos National Laboratory, aims to develop probes for applications including cancer diagnosis, surgery and illumination.
